Today I published the first chapter of my new historical-fantasy novella To Those Who Were Forsaken.
Set in 1940, the story follows Marcius Ross—a witch and newly minted agent of the Vilicus Magi—on his first mission with the infamous Alaric Harewood. Their assignment takes them to South Africa, where the boundaries between magic, myth, and something far more unexpected begin to unravel.
